About
Laurie Cameron, CC, MCRC
I think the greatest gift we can give our children, each other, and the world is to WAKE UP and be powerful role models for conscious choice and compassionate communication.
This belief is the driving force behind my writing, speaking, training and coaching. In the last year or so I’ve discovered the unique focus of a "Calling." There’s no Plan B, no back door, no side door, no ignoring it or hiding from it or pretending it’s not there. There’s only moving forward, putting one foot in front of the other. I don’t always know the How, the When, or the What, but I’m crystal clear about the WHY.
It’s ALL about relationships.
And the more we wake up our relationships, the more vibrant and healthy our lives are, and the more we can heal the world.
So I’m a Professional Catalyst. My passion is helping people make the shift from fear to love in their thoughts, words and actions. My mission is to help 10 million people "Wake Up" and choose more loving thoughts, words and action TODAY than they did yesterday. Hence the name I chose for this site.
If you need some credentials, I’ve been a Personal and Business Coach for almost 10 years. I’m a Master Certified Relationship Coach with Relationship Coaching Institute, a Certified Coach with Coach Training Alliance, and a graduate of Coach U. I was Director of Singles Programs for RCI for four years and trained 330 coaches in their 8-week Singles Training Program. I’ve been one of the senior trainers with CTA for almost six years, and have trained close to 350 coaches all over the world in the 6-month Certified Coach Program.
I created and wrote the Sage & Scholar’s Guide to Coaching Singles, was a contributing author to Exploring Coaching, and have written for numerous magazines, newspapers, as well as published Thriving After Divorce eZine for 3 years.
Oh yeah, and I wrote a book that was just published just last January!
THE JOURNEY FROM FEAR TO LOVE: Waking Up and Walking the "Evolutionary Relationship" Path With Your Partner.
A bit farther back, I worked as a drafting technician for 16 years, in the fields of civil and mining engineering and surveying. And I have a BS in Outdoor Recreation from the College of Forestry & Natural Resources at Colorado State University.
I grew up in Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. And now I’m back living here on the west side of Littleton - closer to the mountains. I’ve lived in some part of the Denver Metro area for most of my life. Colorado is a great place to live!

My amazing daughter, Amie, is now 21 (YIKES!) and will start her senior year of college next fall (DOUBLE YIKES!).
